We are visiting AZ and wanted to try a new sushi restaurant and found Nori on Ooen table. The restaurant is inviting, open, clean, attentive staff and friendly wait staff. The menu had a great variety and every item we ordered was delicious including the desserts- ice cream, mochi and tempura ice cream. Great location and easy stroll around the high street area.

The fish here at Nori is so fresh! I popped in for a small lunch and ordered the sashimi lunch platter which consists of tuna , yellow fish, salmon , and white fish. I paired it with a cold glass of Sapporo and it was the perfect light meal on a sunny afternoon. Perusing the menu, I came upon the garlic bomber rice (not pictured) and I just had to try it. The combination of bacon, fish cake, Serrano pepper, eggs, and onion was perfect. Surprisingly not oily at all. It just left me wanting more. I clearly could not finish it so I had it to go. Since I was seated at the bar, the bartender was also my waiter and he was very knowledgeable of the menu. I could tell he had a great relationship with the regular customers because he even remembered their orders ! The place was not packed during lunch but the bar was definitely busy and it made the meal enjoyable. I'll definitely come back with friends and try out the other dishes on the menu!

We went around 2pm and there was maybe one other couple there so basically empty. Service was attentive and nice, gave us the best seat in the house. The food was delicious and the price for the bento box is incredible, I recommend getting the bento box if you want the most bang for your buck. The restaurant is super nice and makes you feel fancy without the prices. First time trying this place and I will definitely be back.

We went last night for our annual first date anniversary. As always the food was incredible. I missed the picture of the hamachi collar as it was gone before I could remember. One of our must dishes each time we go. The rolls are always on point and this time we tried the ramen which was terrific on a chilly night. Service is best during rush hours as it gets later staff start heading home and it drops off a bit. One of our favorite sushi places in the valley.

Not the best, but better than I expected for Phoenix. The Maguru and Albacore was delicious. The new York roll was really good. Happy hour was a bargain. The waiter was very nice ... A little lax bringing soy sauce, ginger , and wasabi . The place is tastefully decorated and very clean . Thank God they were not busy because the place of course is under staffed. We would definitely eat here again. Oh... The Yellow Tail Kama was delicious. If you don't know what that is, you need to try it. It is the Cat's MEOW !

Our server Naliar was absolutely charming, so sweet and attentive. Definitely went above and beyond. We were seated at a booth that felt like a room to ourselves! Nice perk of arriving before the dinner crowd! The table nearby had ordered Ramen soup, steak teriyaki, and chicken teriyaki. Must say it all looked fantastic, the ribeye definitely caught my eye. The scallop sushi was the best and the lobster added to our roll was delish. The fuyomaki roll was just okay but all in all a great meal!

Mom and I enjoyed a quiet Wednesday lunch at Nori. It started with a pleasant surprise with the unique presentation of gyoza. Veggie tempura is a go-to for me and it was a good portion with a nice variety. Although it wasn't as flavorful as it looked, I still enjoyed the spicy tuna crispy rice app that i ate as a main meal. The winner, though, was mom's $20 lunch special bento. It included miso soup, salad, Cucumber salad, a tuna roll, gyoza, and nigiri. It was filling for a great price. Also, we could have eaten a huge bowl of the Cucumber salad! It was delicious! Although we didn't have any cocktails, the menu looked intriguing as well. Service was great and helpful. We just weren't blown away. Wished everything had more flavor. But, to be fair, we don't always eat at the highest quality sushi restaurants so are used to more sauces. I would still absolutely return here

Great food and fun service. We love coming here for super fresh sushi. The cocktails are fun and the food is always delicious. I love getting their poke bowl and edamame. We prefer to come here on "off hours" because it can get loud and bustling, but it's still a good time even then! Definitely a good date night spot

We went for a quick lunch on Wednesday afternoon, this restaurant is located in the corner of high street. The ambience is intimate and upscale, it is a great place for date night or just a romantic dinner. However we sat outside for lunch, their lunch menu is pretty great but the prices are on the higher end. I went with sushi combo and it came with miso soup, salad, sushi, sashimi and more. Everything tasted fantastic, fresh and really refreshing. The fried dumpling was a little salty for me, the sushi was good but not the best. Overall a good place and had a good lunch. Service was quick and the server was very sweet.
